Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: 22 April 2026
We want to be straightforward about how ParkAlert is funded. This disclosure complies with the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) guidance on hidden advertising, the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) / CAP Code, and the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008.
1. We earn commission from some links
ParkAlert participates in affiliate programmes with parking and travel partners — for example JustPark, YourParkingSpace, APH, and Holiday Extras — and may earn a commission when you click a link and complete a booking. There is no extra cost to you.
2. How we label affiliate content
- Affiliate buttons and cards are clearly grouped under headings such as "Pre-book a guaranteed spot" or "Sponsored".
- Outbound affiliate links carry the
rel="sponsored"tag so search engines and screen readers can identify them. - We never disguise affiliate links as editorial recommendations.
3. Editorial independence
- Risk levels, fine amounts, and rules shown for each location are based on signage, public council data, and crowd reports — not influenced by which operators pay commission.
- We will flag a car park as high risk even if its operator is one of our partners.
- We do not accept payment to remove negative information.
4. Data shared with partners
When you click an affiliate link, your browser is redirected to the partner's website. The partner may set cookies on their domain to attribute the referral. ParkAlert does not share your name, email, or precise location with affiliates — only the click event itself. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
5. Age requirement
Affiliate booking links are intended for users aged 18 or over.
